How do I update the machine license names on my account?

With SongShow Plus, the license file used to unlock your installation has a specific name to make it easy to recognize.  Depending on the methodology that was used when your license was initially created, it may have a name that no longer matches the initial machine/location or no longer makes sense.

Currently, there is no way for the end user to modify the names of the license, however, the support team will gladly assist with this process. If the end user will generate a list of the existing license names along with what they would like them changed to, the support team can make these updates.

To locate the names of all existing license files:

  1. Go to https://www.songshowplus.com/
  2. Using your SSP credentials, sign in to the site.
  3. From the left side, select the Account tab.
  4. Scroll to the Desktop Products section and note that there are both Projection and Workstation sections.
  5. In each section, click the Show Details button to generate a list of all your licenses. 
  6. Once you have this information a list can be created and submitted to support for the changes.  FYI - there are no attachments possible so you will need to copy/paste the list in the support request dialog.

This should resolve any inconsistency or confusion between the license and the machine.
